The Hen House is a lovely quirky family property sleeping 5 with a walk through third bedroom and a spiral staircase leading from the sitting room to a mezzanine double bedroom.  The sitting room has retained its original beams and is spacious and light and leads into a large family kitchen with plenty of room for cooking, eating and socialising.  It is located opposite the owners' barn but there is an enclosed garden facing away from the owners' house ensuring your privacy.  It is located in the hamlet of Hook Green and is within an easy walk to the local pub serving good food.  The surrounding countryside is leafy and green and hosts lots of opportunities for keen ramblers, walkers and cyclists with good access to both Bewl Water and Bedgebury Forest.  As well as the bike trails at Bedgebury there are the tree top adventures at Go Ape  Lamberhurst has its' own vineyard, two more gastro pubs, a golf course and the atmospheric ruins of Scotney Castle.  Sissinghurst Castle and gardens are just outside Cranbrook and Tenterden is a little further afield which has its own steam railway.  It is an easy drive to the lovely spa town of Tunbridge Wells, with shops, restaurants, theatres and its' cafe culture.  Pashley Manor is a wonderful garden to visit and from here you can easily tour around the many Kentish villages exploring farm shops and markets.
