Description

Set in the midst of a working farmyard, The Old Pump House is every bit as good as it looks. The beautiful vaulted ceilings create a fabulous living space, furnished with great style and with a true eye for design. Everything oozes quality and reflects the care the owners have taken to ensure your holiday will be one to remember and return again for more. When you add the location - with views from both the tennis court and the state of the art indoor swimming pool and not forgetting the fishing lake  - this really is a very special place. There are 180 acres of orchards with many footpaths and local walks to enjoy - plus so many National Trust properties and attractions within easy reach, it is a brilliant base from which to explore all that Kent has to offerShort breaks by request only.  Shop: 0.5 mile Pub: 0.5 mile  Coast: 28 miles

Open Plan Sitting/Dining Room/Kitchen is a wonderful open plan living space with limestone flooring throughout
Sitting/Dining Area with two very comfortable two seater sofas, occasional tables, armchair, TV/DVD and hall stand for coats and boots. The dining table with four chairs sits next to the French doors to the patio and the
Kitchen Area provides an electric oven and hob with extractor hood, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and comprehensively stocked cupboards
Bedroom again with limestone floor and lovely soft rugs, has a king-size bed with John Lewis linen, bedside cabinets, built-in wardrobe, wall mounted TV and French doors to enclosed patio. There is an En-Suite Shower Room (which also has a door from the living area) is gorgeous and has a double shower, heated towel rail, washbasin and w.c

Garden: Private enclosed patio with picnic table, wrought iron table and chairs, Webber  barbecue and washing line.
Parking: Designated parking space next to the cottage.
Heating: Underfloor heating.
Notes: Sofa bed available for additional guest in the sitting room area. (This prevents the cottage from having a 4 star rating as Visit England state that all beds must be in bedrooms). The pool is cleaned and sanitised by a UV light system.  Day tickets are available for the fishing lake which is only a 10 minute walk from the cottage. The pool and tennis court are available by arrangement with the owners. Due to its location with tractors and farm equipment present, the cottage is not suitable for toddlers or children under 10 years old. Please note there is a steep hill to the cottage if walking.
