Step inside this luxury hideaway and discover a stunning interior with its colonial themed wallpaper, a cosy wood burning stove and lots of snuggly wraps to cuddle up in. Walking enthusiasts and culture lovers will enjoy The Snuggery with walking trails starting from your doorstep onto the North Downs Way. The Snuggery is an unexpected discovery situated in the grounds of the owners' home and is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the pretty hamlet of Upper Bush surrounded by beautiful countryside. The open plan interior has been lovingly put together to create a romantic retreat with high vaulted ceilings, natural oak flooring and wonderful fabrics and furnishings to create an interior which is fun, light and airy. The owner has thought of everything and has provided a bench by the front door fitted with a heated element, perfect for warming up your walking boots. There are also two raised herb and vegetable beds for seasonal pick-your-own right outside your front door. Apart from walking there are lots of other things close by to explore with several country pubs in nearby Meopham offering excellent fare. The beautiful city of Rochester is steeped in history with an ancient cathedral, a Norman castle and fantastic views over the Medway. Historic Chatham Dockyard, which is a maritime museum, offers hands-on experiences with the option of climbing on board a sloop, a destroyer and a submarine. Daily shopping is only a mile away in the village of Cuxton which also has a pub and a railway station.
