Sitting/Dining Room is a fabulous room with the inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove at its' heart. There is a large comfortable sofa, antique armchairs, antique chests, occasional tables, TV/DVD, Bose MP3 player, record player with various LP's, and many original beams. The dining table is set to the back of the room, overlooking the pretty sun-trap patio garden with French doors for direct access
Kitchen has everything you need with a gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fridge. There is also plenty of storage. A tumble dryer and freezer are located in the adjacent garage

A wonderful place, we have had a relaxing week. Good walks for the dog and interesting places to visit. (Rye, Canterbury, Winchelsea, Biddenden Vineyard and Dungeness.) We love Kent with all the gardens, castles and oast houses. The cottage is lovely, the weather was great. It is good to visit Great Dixter, Scotney Castle, Sissinghurst, and Wye Nature Reserve are all a must! It was my dads birthday while we were here and he really enjoyed it. Our favourite thing was playing a tune on the record player every night. Thank you! I loved living in the attic with the dolls house and the double bed. We have really enjoyed our week in Marigold Cottage. The weather has been fantastic and enabling us to visit lots of houses and gardens. Sissinghurst, Great Dixter, Chartwell Hever Castle Scotney Castle and Smallhythe are all a must! The Ewe and Lamb is a great place to eat as is Orgu2 (Turkish) in Tenterden. The property could not have been more charming, and the real thing was every bit as delightful as the photos. The kitchen was very well equipped, and there were even herbs and spices, etc. at our disposal, as well as tea and coffee. The garden was a lovely spot to sit out in the sunshine.
