Description
Weavers Cottage is located in the peaceful garden setting of The Cloth Hall, which is a wonderful example of a 15th century yeoman's timber hall house. Smarden was once renowned as a weaving community in medieval times. The cottage has been successfully converted into a stunning retreat for two and has been styled with every attention to detail offering a super king-size bed, a luxury spa bathroom and a large comfy sofa right in front of the wood burning stove. Outside there is a beech hedge enclosing the courtyard garden with own barbecue, use of the owners' swimming pool and there is also a communal seating area with a cooking fire pit. There are beautiful gardens surrounding the cottage with a vegetable patch where guests can pick their own from a seasonal selection. There is also a shared games room above the garage with armchairs, a fridge and a pool table and a small gym below. Weavers Cottage can be booked in conjunction with Spinster's Nook which sleeps 2 and is located next door. Shop: 3.4 miles Pub: 0.2 miles Coast: 22 miles
