Description

Apple Barn is the sister barn to Hazel and can accommodate five people. Apple is an eco-friendly barn conversion and is furnished and finished to a very high standard. It is tucked away in an enviable position, in an area of Outstanding Natural beauty on the Kent Downs, surrounded by walks, wildlife and birds. The property has everything that you would expect to find while on holiday and even has mood lighting at the touch of a switch. It has been converted very carefully with energy saving paramount - which includes ground source heating, ventilation with heat recovery, triple glazing and has even been painted with organic paint. It is the perfect base from which to orchestrate your holiday, with Canterbury only 8 miles away or plan a day with the children at Port Lympne or Howletts - Aspinall's wild animal park. How about a day trip to France - Folkestone for the Eurotunnel or Dover for a ferry crossing - both only a short drive away. The owners, who live on the farm, are renowned for their award winning farm breakfasts and are only too happy to cook one up for you, using their own fresh eggs and seasonal produce (costs apply). With views as far as the eye can see, Apple Barn is the perfect holiday retreat. Apple Barn can be booked together with its sister Hazel Barn to sleep nine. Both are fully accessible for wheelchair users.

Ground Floor:
Open Plan Sitting/Dining Room/Kitchen is exceptionally light and spacious.  It is tiled throughout and finished to a high specification. The  Sitting Area has two leather sofas, coffee table, large pouffe, TV/DVD and French doors to outside seating with fantastic views. The Dining Area has a wooden table and six chairs plus a pretty dresser and the Kitchen Area provides an electric oven and hob, washing machine, slim-line dishwasher, fridge, microwave, boot tray and coat stand for easy drying and doors to outside seating area
Bedroom 1 has a king-size bed, bedside cabinets, fitted wardrobe, dressing table and stool, wall mounted TV and the En-Suite Bathroom is fully tiled with bath with hand-held shower, washbasin with cupboard underneath, heated towel rail and w.c
