Straw Cottage - Three Bedroom House, Sleeps 6 Review #27724809 5 STARS Simply perfect! We loved our stay at the straw cottage last week. A perfect and spacious holiday cottage, very friendly hosts, lovely farm, excellent play facilities and then of course the farm animals. The kids ( aged 5 and 7) absolutely loved it and its completely safe to let them go outside and explore on their own. Especially the daily ‘feed the animals’ activity was very much appreciated! Very good location, peaceful but close to many attractions. We spent a day at the beach in Botany Bay, a day in Canterbury, a day at Leeds Castle (including a big playground), next to enjoying the Kentish scenery of the North Downs. Highly recommend!
Lovely weekend ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely and cozy cottage, great setting and close by to local attractions to explore. Owners very friendly and chocolate brownie was yummy, girls loved it.
We absolutely loved the property, it was well equipped. The hosts were really welcoming and we had an amazing time
A literal wonderland for kids of all ages, a magically hospitable pair of hosts and located in the best possible spot to explore Kent and it's beaches.
Wonderful family holiday home and the owners were very welcoming and helpful.
Loved the owners, loved their animals and how well they’re cared for—it enriched every day as well as providing a whole other realm of entertainment. The antics of Bluebell, the baby donkey, were a special treat. Also loved experiencing Straw Cottage—we were there during a week of weather extremes, and the House was comfortable no matter what Mother Nature was doing.
