Set in the heart of a working fruit farm are two semi-detached lodges, approached up the long farm drive through the fruit fields. The farm originally produced apples and pears (now growing soft fruits in poly tunnels) and the first lodge - D'Arcy Spice - is named after a lovely old variety of apple. It has a big open plan living area just perfect for kicking back, relaxing and enjoying each others company. The owners live in the farmhouse further up the farm, where they keep their gorgeous South American Paso Fino horses which they are happy for you to visit. Being located in the heart of Kent - there are a myriad of attractions all within easy access and the nearby village - with three pubs! - is just at the top of the hill. Whether you fancy a game of golf, visiting National Trust properties, a day at the beach, major retail therapy at The Ashford Designer Outlet or Bluewater to name but two, a visit to the lovely town of Tenterden known as "the Jewel in the Weald", a day trip to France or London (less than an hour away from a closeby station) or just great walks along the Greensand Way -  D'Arcy Spice will be the perfect base for all.  Shop: 0.5 mile   Pub: 0.5 mile   Coast: 24 miles
