Wagon Lodge has been beautifully converted to retain its original charm including its character beams and vaulted ceiling.  It is located on a working farm and is secluded with its own pretty garden and lovely countryside views.  The spacious open plan living area has been tastefully furnished and has a cosy wood burning stove and boasts a medieval bed, which has been restored to the highest standard.  There are French doors opening onto an enclosed garden which is peaceful and perfect for summer dining. Join the High Weald circular walk from outside your door and wander through the countryside into Tenterden and enjoy its many cafes, bars and restaurants or you can continue on to the vineyard at Chapel Down in Small Hythe, where you can enjoy a guided tour and taste their award winning wines and beers. Take a ride on the wonderful Kent and East Sussex Railway towards Bodiam and its ancient castle.  This area is know locally as the Jewel in the Weald and has many beautiful parks and gardens to explore.  Other highlights are Bewl Water and Bedgebury Forest which are great for walkers and cyclists.  There are golf courses and beaches within an easy drive, making this your perfect holiday get-away.   Shop:  1.5 miles   Pub: 1.5 miles    Coast: 15 miles

Ms Julie M,

We had an excellent time, the people in Kent were amazing and very helpful. The holiday cottage was superb, welcoming and very cosy. Not forgetting the most comfortable bed that we have slept in. The location was relaxing and peaceful. We would definitely recommend and most certainly will be back.

Previous Customer,

Just popped over the border for a short break and needed a quiet bolt-hole with elderly dog. What a find!! Excellent, top class facility made for a perfect break. Thanks so much for creating this little haven.

Previous Customer,

We've had a nice time in your beautiful cottage. It was our 5th time in Kent in 3 years and we are still discovering new spots, this includes also your cosy "Wagon Lodge" . We will recommend your cottage to friends and family. Thank you.

John & R,

We had a lovely time. Rusty we understand was the first dog visitor to Wagon Lodge and he loved it. We hope Jasmine & Elliot loved him too. Fantastic property, highly recommended.

M S,

Lovely home, lovely area, beautiful farmland. Thank you.

Previous Customer,

Thank you for a relaxing stay in your lovely cottage. We have all had a wonderful time especially Rusty. Cannot praise the cottage highly enough, you should be proud of your 4 star gold review, we think it should be 5 star.

Lee,Lisa, and R,

Just Wow. Such an oasis of calm. We feel refreshed after a relaxing stay, lovely to be lazy but also exploring locally. Really recommend Biddenden Vineyard for a trip out. We found Wagon Lodge to be immaculate, everything we could need. Using the kitchen was a treat - such sharp knives! The bed is divine, the shower perfect. Highly fabulous vacation - we will be back before we leave to stay again in a different season with different aspects of farm life to observe and we want to enjoy the fire bowl and wood burner when we need to heat. 5 star exceptional. We loved it! Staycation is the way to go... Well done to you both..
