Wagon Lodge has been beautifully converted to retain its original charm including its character beams and vaulted ceiling.  It is located on a working farm and is secluded with its own pretty garden and lovely countryside views.  The spacious open plan living area has been tastefully furnished and has a cosy wood burning stove and boasts a medieval bed, which has been restored to the highest standard.  There are French doors opening onto an enclosed garden which is peaceful and perfect for summer dining. Join the High Weald circular walk from outside your door and wander through the countryside into Tenterden and enjoy its many cafes, bars and restaurants or you can continue on to the vineyard at Chapel Down in Small Hythe, where you can enjoy a guided tour and taste their award winning wines and beers. Take a ride on the wonderful Kent and East Sussex Railway towards Bodiam and its ancient castle.  This area is know locally as the Jewel in the Weald and has many beautiful parks and gardens to explore.  Other highlights are Bewl Water and Bedgebury Forest which are great for walkers and cyclists.  There are golf courses and beaches within an easy drive, making this your perfect holiday get-away.   Shop:  1.5 miles   Pub: 1.5 miles    Coast: 15 miles

Very friendly and lovely host, left some local cherries, milk and farm eggs on arrival. Overall was a very well done up cottage! Would definitely recommend couple who love nature reserves and woodlands!

Mr L,

Lovely property in a quiet location. Very comfortable. Perfect spot for visiting others attractions.

Mr W,

This is our second visit to wagon lodge and on both occasions it's been just perfect.so much so we've booked again for next year.

Mr B,

We found this property to be of excellent cleanliness, nicely furnished, very welcoming ie milk and biscuits on arrival. Location is great for country walks and central to many attractions. Excellent for our pet as garden is completely enclosed which is usually hard to find on holiday rentals. The log burner proved useful due to unusually chilly and wet weather for May. We would recommend Wagon Lodge 100% and would love to return there.

Mrs C,

Ideal holiday venue. Walks from the front gate second to none. Thoroughly enjoyable with every comfort.
