Lovely owners couldn't do enough for us!Mr John Charlton - 19th September 2017

Due to the fact that our Internet connection was repeatedly on our way and our route planner was unreliable, we had a lot of trouble finding the house, despite the fact that we had received the coordinates. In addition, we were severely delayed by ferry and file. However, the owner kept us in touch - every time we were able to connect by telephone - very patiently, just as long as we reached the house (one hour late). Despite the raining rain and the late time we were warmly welcomed in a lovely Cottage with every possible comfort, from power adapters to hair dryer and any imaginable type of kitchenware. Milk in the fridge, beautiful bouquets on the table, a lovely wood stove lit directly for us, hiking maps and all kinds of tourist information. A warm welcome to a delicious, green, quiet place! The home is situated in a beautiful, tranquil part of Kent. We had a great holiday visiting Nymans, Pashley Manor, Batemans, Sissinghurst, Great Dixter, Hawkinge Airdrome Museum, Rye, Dungerness and Hever Castle. Thank you so much for the comfortable Lodge.Mr & Mrs D - 16th July 2016

The Lodge is in a lovely peaceful setting in the grounds of the owners' beautiful farm. It's a wonderfully cozy cottage with everything we could possibly need, including a great view of the forest from the extremely comfy bed! The cottage is set in quiet and beautiful surroundings and as a result we had a peaceful stay. The cottage is well presented with everything you'd need to make your stay comfortable. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and I get the impression nothing is too much trouble!The wood burner is a lovely addition, even if your fiancee feeds it logs a little too often resulting in the cottage becoming a sauna!The surrounding countryside is stunning and offers many excellent walks to nearby villages.I would thoroughly recommend this cottage to anyone.Mr A from Kent - 6th May 2015

A last minute change of plans led us to this wonderful cottage. A very warm welcome form the owners and an unforgettable stay for us here in rural Kent.
