Hidden away in the corner of a little square at the heart of the village, is this renovated Victorian cottage. The access to the cottage is via what used to be the back door onto the square, the cottage retains many original features, has a pretty garden with sunken patio and comfortably sleeps 4 guests. Just around the corner from the cottage is The Dog Inn which has won several awards and there is also a Post Office, village stores, restaurants and bakery. Wingham is only 8 miles from the medieval city of Canterbury with the stunning cathedral, museums and great cafe culture to enjoy. Just ten minutes away is Wingham Wildlife Park for a great day out with or Howletts Wild Animal Park owned by the Aspinall Family and famous for the gorillas and elephants. The countryside around Wingham is perfect for exploring on a bicycle and there are lovely orchards and even a vineyard at nearby Staple where you can sample some English wines. The coast is just fifteen minutes away together with the delightful medieval market town of Sandwich with winding streets and characterful buildings. Shop: 0.3 Pub: 0.1 Coast: 8 miles

Bedroom 1 is carpeted and overlooks the garden it has a double metal frame bed bedside tables and lamps. There is a built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers with a writing bureau and pretty armchair
Bedroom 2 is also carpeted and has twin beds with a small chest of drawers between and a bedside lamp. There is an original Victorian fireplace and hooks on the door for hanging clothes
Bathroom has a tiled floor and bath with hand held shower and electric shower over with thermostat control and a fixed shower screen. There is also an antique washstand, hand basin, heated towel rail and w.c.
Garden: A pretty cottage garden is accessed across a shared walkway and up some brick steps. It is planted with fruit trees, shrubs and perennials and steps lead down to a sunken paved patio with garden furniture
Parking: There is parking for 1 car in the square to the front of the property when available. Alternatively there is free parking on-street nearby
