Description

Chapel Cottage is a beautifully converted chapel at the heart of Woolage Green, a delightful hamlet that still boasts a pub (just a short stroll from the property) and is perfectly placed about 7 miles from historic Canterbury and 10 miles from Dover. The cottage sits on the charming green that gives this village its name and with open fields to the rear the property has a lovely rural outlook to the front and back. Inside the cottage the lounge area has a real feeling of space allowing the character of the original chapel to shine through - with double height ceiling and windows and the wooden staircase leading up to the galleried mezzanine bedroom. The courtyard garden to the rear of the property faces east, perfect for breakfast.  The sofa is also a sofa bed offering flexible sleeping arrangements. For a few hours of birdwatching and rare plant spotting visit the unique location of Samphire Hoe -  a nature reserve created during the construction of the Channel Tunnel at the foot of Dover Cliffs.
