This stunning modern property with a bright open plan living area is situated high up on a hill with spectacular views encompassing Battle Abbey and just to the sea. The far reaching views from the property and from the decked area outside are simply stunning. Set within the grounds of a large country house it provides a haven of peace and tranquillity whilst nearby is the pretty historic town of Battle and its medieval Abbey, perfect for browsing the independent local craft and vintage shops or for enjoying lunch in one of the high street cafes. The station is only a 20 minute walk away via footpaths or roads. The area is surrounded by glorious 1066 countryside and offers many opportunities for walking within ancient woodlands or the nearby coast and visiting local vineyards. This part of England is abundant with National Trust properties such as the beautiful Sissinghurst Gardens, Bodiam and Scotney Castles. Kitchen /Dining Area is fully fitted with a range of modern cupboards, electric hob and oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave. There is a larder dresser and a circular table with leaf to seat insert to seat six
Bedroom 1 has double doors with screening for the glass panels and has wood flooring. There is a double bed with underbed storage, bedside tables, single wardrobe with mirrored front, dressing table and chair
Bathroom is tiled with a separate bath with hand held shower, separate shower, washbasin, heated towel rail, w.c. and a wall-mounted heater. There is also a washing machine and a tumble dryer housed cleverly in the bathroom cupboard.

Garden: There is a decked area outside with garden furniture and a lawned area and access, at own risk, to a 4 acre field in front of the Loft. There is a garden map at the property detailing the garden boundary. Please note that the adjoining property has tenants and their privacy should be respected - thank you.

It was a beautiful place to stay in surrounded by such lovely and peaceful countryside. Would certainly recommend. Please tell the owner we were impressed with building's design and the artworks on show.
I thought it was lovely and an excellent centre for exploring East Sussex which was new to me.
