The Parlour is a stunning conversion of an original dairy, which has been transformed into a fantastic holiday retreat set in a peaceful location on the edge of the village of Brede.  The owner has incorporated many of the original beams which have been lovingly restored, combined with many contemporary features giving The Parlour both character and a luxurious, modern style. The location is excellent for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside and the nearby coastline. Rye is only seven miles away - with its many antique shops, cafes and restaurants and the golden seven mile long beach at Camber is an easy drive. A short walk takes you to two village pubs and the views from the farm drive - on the way to one of the pubs - is spectacular.   Shop: 0.5 miles  Pub: 500 yards  Coast: 6 miles

This is a lovely home from home which suited our 3-generational 2yrs - 69 yrs old family group perfectly. Although the weather was poor when we were there, the house was cosy and warm and we still managed to go to the nearby beaches every day with the children and avoid the rain.

Mr S,

A comfortable, well equipped cottage in a beautiful location convenient for Rye nature reserve, Winchelsea and many other lovely places in East Sussex/Kent. Perfect for my 82 year old mother. Absolutely spotless and nice to know owner on site if any help needed. Will definitely be back to explore more of this area and although we didn’t try to local shopping in Broad Oak as parking looked tricky, we found Jempsons in Rye more than adequate. Thank you Mark and Hannah for letting us rent your lovely holiday property The Vince family May 2021

Mrs V,

Lovely accommodation in a quiet village. Local pub short distance and very homely with good pub food
