Description
The Little Barn is situated down a quiet, winding country lane in the Lower Weald of East Sussex. This charming studio is perfect for those seeking a tranquil base from which to explore the surrounding countryside. The open plan living area is comfortable and bright and has two sets of French doors opening onto a lovely garden patio with great views across the owners' garden. The oak-framed barn is situated a few miles from the town of Uckfield and a perfect base for Glyndebourne where the famous Opera House is situated. The Ashdown Forest, the home of "Winnie the Pooh", is a 10 minute drive away, perfect for walking and enjoying nature and the Ouse Valley Way is just half a mile down the lane; this footpath takes you all the way to historic town of Lewes. The South Downs National Park and The National Trust Sheffield Park are also popular places of interest nearby. For the wildlife enthusiasts, The Little Barn offers a unique experience of badger watching, there is a sett at the bottom of the paddock and another four setts in the adjoining fields.
