Description

Owl Barn is so named because of the owls frequently seen hunting along the paddock hedgerows.  Lying in the grounds of the owners' farmhouse with stables, hay barns and horses it enjoys wonderful views over the valley towards the village of Sedlescombe. The property is all on one level with a spacious open plan living area and a master bedroom with an en-suite shower room. The entire village is a conservation area containing many picturesque 15th,16th and 17th century half-timbered houses and a central village green with ancient pump house. There is a super village store and The Queens Head pub dating back to the 15th century days of smugglers, is a gentle stroll away. The village also hosts the Pestalozzi International Children's Village, an educational charity set up for children from developing countries to live and study. For keen golfers there is a local golf club - also home to The James Andrew School of Golf - should you need to brush up your game  and for wine lovers - a trip to Sedlescombe Vineyards will be a must!.  Historic Battle is less than three miles away and Hastings, with its charming Old Town -also home to the largest beach-launched fishing fleet in Europe - a short drive.
