Description
Dairy Cottage is situated in the heart of Holbeam Wood farm in the rural East Sussex countryside with spectacular views across meadows. The property is betwixt Wadhurst and Ticehurst, both villages offering a good range of local shops, cafes and excellent pubs. The spacious living area is open plan and is furnished in a comfortable traditional style offering country living. There is a cosy wood burning stove to gather around and there is a raised outside seating area which can be also accessed from the master bedroom. The master bedroom is on the ground floor along with the bathroom making this property suitable for guests with impaired mobility. There are two further bedrooms on the first floor, bedroom 2 is accessed through bedroom 3 - ideal as a family room or for children to share. Dairy Cottage is a real home from home offering an escape to the countryside with great access to walking and cycling and is a great base from which to explore the local area. Whether you are looking to visit some of our castles, Bodiam and Scotney or our famous gardens at Sissinghurst and Pashley Manor, you will find something for all the family to enjoy. There are two local golf courses at Dale Hill and Lamberhurst and there are water sports and fishing at Bewl Water. London is only an hour from Wadhurst station.

Garden: Outside raised terrace area with garden furniture and great views. There is also a concrete area in front of the property
Heating: Wall mounted electric radiator in sitting room, wood burning stove - 1st basket of logs provided. There are two additional electric plug in radiators
Parking: Ample space for cars in front of the cottage
Pets: One well behaved dog is welcome. Please bring your own dog bed, blankets, bowls and remove all evidence of pet from the cottage and outside area. Pets must not be left unattended in the property.
Notes: Broadband is available - supplied via satellite.
Please note that as this is a working farm so all dogs should be kept on a lead and children should be supervised at all times. During the winter months the cattle are housed in a byre to the side of the property and there can be a bit of noise during feeding time. Shoots on the farm are also organised on a few Saturday mornings from November to January.
